Hand-sewn, hand-torn pages in archival-quality paper.

A satisfyingly squishy foam-padded cover in multi-toned burgundy leather, with a brass-coloured pyramidal central clasp, a wide strap, and three ribbon bookmarks in gold and red. Black and white diamond-pattern endpapers.

Made for the Faery Fantasy Mythology Arts & Crafts event at the Flavel, Dartmouth, in November.

My goblin underlings made it for me :D

Actually I salvaged it off an old purse I saw in a second-hand shop. Old bags and purses are a goldmine for big clasps.

Had never even thought of that. I shall have to check that out. Looks great though.

Having seen this - and all the others - in person, I can honestly say that the photo doesn't do it justice. It's such a lovely book, and the clasp is very special.
Another of my favourites.:D:D

I do like that leather, and I still have a decent bit of it left to do something else... ~thinking~
